Jones Lang LaSalle switches off in support of Earth Hour 2010


Moscow, 22 March 2010 –  To emphasise the importance of energy conservation Jones Lang LaSalle is again encouraging its offices and staff around the world to join this year’s Earth Hour campaign, which aims to raise global awareness and commitment to action on climate change by turning all lights off for one hour at 8.30pm on Saturday 27th March. Jones Lang LaSalle offices in more than 75 cities worldwide have pledged to switch their lights out.

Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature which began in 2007 and has gained a substantial global following. 

Charles Cresser, Associate Director within Corporate Solution Department, Jones Lang LaSalle Russia & CIS, said: “At Jones Lang LaSalle we are committed to creating a more sustainable environment for current and future generations. Our internal program ACT: A Cleaner Tomorrow, aims to inspire a more environmentally-friendly mindset and encourage our employees to take ACTions that will make our offices more sustainable”.
