JLL strengthens its key positions in the Russian & CIS market

​Moscow, 29 January 2015 – International real estate consulting company JLL has announced a number of strategically important appointments to its senior management team to strengthen the firm’s le​adership position in the Russian and CIS market.

Valentin Stobetsky, who previously headed JLL’s Office Group, is taking on the new role of Chief Commercial Officer. He will focus on developing and implementing the JLL’s commercial strategy in Russia & CIS, which will include identifying new business opportunities and the best options for existing and potential clients, ensuring an effective cross-sell between various business lines. Valentin’s commercial real estate market profile and broad knowledge of JLL’s range of expertise have made him the ideal candidate for this key position. His strong leadership and oversight will drive the development, alignment and successful execution of the firm’s commercial strategy.

Stepping up to be the new Head of the Office Group is Alexey Efimov, who previously led the Corporate Solutions team. Throughout his more than 11 years’ tenure at JLL, Alexey’s contributions have been critical in growing the firm’s Tenant Representation business and building up the most powerful and professional team in the Russian market. Alexey is an outstanding real estate market expert and has an important client portfolio including large Russian and international companies such as Kaspersky Lab, Alfa-Bank, IBM and Deutsche Bank. In his new position, Alexey will join the Executive Board and be responsible for office real estate business development in Russia.

Kate McMurtrie has been appointed as the Head of Corporate Solutions for Russia & CIS. Kate joined JLL in 2008 and, since 2011, has been responsible for International Client Services within the Corporate Solutions team. Throughout her 7 year tenure, Kate has helped to grow and support JLL’s highly successful Corporate Solutions group and has been instrumental in developing the team’s corporate track record. Her client portfolio includes many major corporate occupiers such as Bayer, PepsiCo, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Exxon, and GSK.
